Reserving Excursions 60 Days Out

If I understand it correctly, we can reserve some/all excursions 60 days out if the final payment has been made and information on how to do it comes when the final payment is made. The question I have is how does this work with using DVC points for a cruise. All I have is my confirmation from DVC of my reservation and I don't believe I will receive anything else until cruise docs come a couple of weeks before the cruise. There is nothing about how to reserve excursions early.

Is there any way to pre-book excursions if you use DVC points for the cruise? Thanks in advance.

We used points for 4 of us on last year's cruise and paid cash for DS. We got a brochure about excursions a few days before our 60 day out mark and I was able to book what I wanted (Blue Lagoon). Don't wait--I tried to book parasailing on CC 23 days out (it was a grade card perk for DD) and it was all booked up.

Ditto....when you cruise on points, you are totally "paid up" when you book. So, shortly before the 60 day mark, you will be mailed the information about excursions, price list, and phone number. The cost of the excursions is applied to your stateroom account. You can cancel up to 2 days before the sailing date with a full refund. After that, you pay unless the excursion is cancelled.
