Reserving and Banking spanning UY

I have searched for the answer to this but was not able to find it.

150 points current UY 2013 + 45 points banked form previous UY 2012

At 7 months
I am making a reservation in the current UY 2013 that will use all the banked points UY 2012 (plus a few of the current UY2013) to book at a resort until the end of the current UY 2013.

I can then
1) immediately book the rest of the vacation days in the future UY 2014 since there will have a enough future UY 2014 points (please take this as a given);
2) bank the current UY 2013 points balance to future UY 2014


Will the ressie then use banked points UY 2013 first in the future UY 2014, before the UY 2014 points are touched (even though I reserved before banking)

or

Do I have to bank the current UY 2013 points first, before completing ressie for them to be used first (ie not using 2014 UY points first)


I just cannot wrap my mind around it.

If your reservation crosses into the next UY, it's easier to call MS to book the reservation. They can do it all at once.
