We reserved Never Never Land condo through floridasunvacations.com. I don't know anything about the location (never been to Windsor Hills), I believe it is an upper unit, but I don't know where it is in relation to the pool or convenience store.

Does anyone have experiences with this particular condo they could share?

I don't have experience with this particular condo, but I can tell you that all of the condo buildings are very close to the pool and clubhouse (where the convenience store is located). Even the farthest building is just a few blocks away.

FayeW,

We recently booked the same condo for a week in April also through Florida Sun Vacations. I cancelled our reservations at the Polynesian to rent this unit. The pictures look great and I have read good reviews of the resort pool.

If I remember correctly, I was told that the unit is on the 3rd floor of a 4 story building and is approximately 200 yards from the cubhouse/main pool.

Enjoy your trip. If you are going before the middle of April, please post a review of the unit.

FayeW,

We just returned yesterday from our stay in Never Never Land. The condo was exactly as it was respresented in the photos on Florida Sun Vacations web site. The condo was very clean and the management company was great to deal with. It is a third floor unit with a western view from the balcony which overlooks a parking lot and tennis courts. On our first morning, we saw approximately a dozen hot air balloons going by when we looked out the window and the kids loved it!

Once you get the access card for the pool, it is a short walk from the condo to a back gate which is near the hot tub. The pool was very large and the kids loved the zero entry side. Also, the pool slide was great for our 7 year old. Just so you know, they strictly enforce a 48" minimum height for the pool slide.

The drive to WDW was very quick with the longest being Magik Kingdom. We left Windsor Hills around 8:15 and were able to make rope drop at all of the parks.

Feel free to post or PM me with any other questions you may have.

Thanks so much for your review! I just booked our airfare yesterday but we still have seven months to go before our trip. Was there anything that surprised you, like not having something provided in the unit that you thought should have been there, that we should make sure to bring ourselves? Were the beds and furnishings comfortable?

Thanks.

No, there really were no surprises. Had I known what type of coffee maker was in the unit, I would have packed some filters. We ended up buying a 100-pack of basket type filters and left them in the unit. There is a Super Walmart nearby that we stocked up on bottled water, milk and cereal on our first day. It was much cheaper to buy a whole case of water for under $4.00 and bring them into the theme parks. Just so you know, a bottle of water in the parks was $2.00 or more.

The only problem that we encountered was with the DVD player in the living room. We could not find the remote and had very little control using the buttons on top of the unit. The couple of times that we viewed a DVD, we had to sit through all of the previews before the main menu appeared and were then able to press the play button. Ths was not a big issue, just a little annoyance. I will send an e-mail to the management company and this probably will be corrected by the time that you are there.

To answer your other question, the beds and other furnishings were comfortable and clean.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I am bumping my own thread to see if anyone else has stayed in this unit since WackyEyes so kindly posted a review in April. Less than 4 months to go!!

Do you have a link to the unit? I would love to see it but I can't seem to find it during my search.

Thanks. I had seen a condo on e-bay awhile back that had a mural of Peter Pan and Wendy with Tinker Belle. It was just beautiful and I was hoping this was it. It is not but it is a beautiful condo.
