Reserve now, change when codes?

Hi everyone. Quick question. My wife and I have decided a quick, long weekend on the first weekend in May. We recently purchased AP passes, and we would love to book with the May codes, which of course aren't out yet. My question is, if we book a room now at rack rates, just to be sure we get a room, can we convert that ressie or cancel and rebook when the codes come out? Thanks,

Yes, you can book now, and rebook or apply the codes if they are available.

Yes, if the discounts are available for your room type and dates. You essentially cancel & rebook as far as availability goes, but you usually keep the same reservation # (if the same resort & room). Already having a reservation does not give you an advantage when it comes to getting a discount.

Yes you can. I am having our vacation booked by a Travel Agent and from everything I've read and heard, all you have to do is call when the AP rates come out for May and have them apply the code to your existing reservation. You don't have to cancel persay, just have them apply the code to what you already have. Our room is already booked and the TA said that she would have the discount code applied if/when the AP rates come out for May!! Hope this helps and have a great time on your vacation!!
