Hello,

My husband and I are planning our first Disney trip with the kids (2 and 4) and grandparents. We were hoping to rent a 2 B villa at the Beach Club. We like the idea of all staying together and having the laundry and kitchen facilities right there. My travel agent can not accomodate us. I've been told that there is nothing available in October or November at any of the villas. Does anyone have any tips or hints or someone else that I may be able to contact to try to reserve a villa? Or maybe you have a suggestion for alternate accomodations. Thanks so much for your help.

Kathy

Although it sounds nice to have a villa, they are hard to come by especially in the two bedroom variety. If you are staying for a long time you may want to keep on looking. But if you are there for say a week or less then getting two rooms will be much more economical. You can get connecting rooms and eat out every meal for a fraction of the cost of a two bedroom on site villa.

There are many varying off site alternatives that will require you to drive to the parks but are a great deal.

Hi there!

Unfortuneatly, I don't think you'll have much luck getting into the BCV's for that time of year. Oct./Nov. while slower season for regular WDW resorts is BUSY season for DVC resorts because it's lower points that time of year and MNSSHP at MK and the food and wine festival at Epcot are happening during those months. BCV's are one of the smallest DVC resorts and most desired of the DVC resorts due to SAB and proximity to Epcot and MGM and members book them at exactly 11mos out for that time of year as it books up fast.

You may want to try one of the other DVC resorts - if location was a factor in staying at BCV's you could maybe try Boardwalk villas. The DVC resort that will most likely have better availability is OKW due to it's size - it's the largest of the DVC resorts. But you can check them all for availability if you have a preference. ;)

You may also be interested in checking out the FW cabins, they sleep 6 and have a full kitchen - but no laundry room. They can be much less expensive too. Just a thought or maybe check out the DVC rent/trade board to see if anyone has points already reserved for that time frame for rent.

Good luck!:)

I have a 2 bedroom villa at Old Key West 7/17-24 which I can't use. I know it is not October but if interested let me know.
