We have reservations for Chef Mickeys. I was given a confermation number when I booked it, but now I can't find it.
Do I need the number to confirm our reservations when we go for dinner?

no, but when you check in I would get a listing of all your ADRs so you have all your confirmation #s in case of a problem

You won't need it unless there is a problem. Usually your name pulls up your reservations. It's good to have just in case there is a problem but 99% of the time you don't need it. I wouldn't worry about it.
