Has anyone requested to add guests to an existing reservation? I just found out dd friends will be at Disney World for our first two days and they wondered if I could add them to my existing dinner reservation? I'm pretty sure what the answer will be, but I told my dd I would inquire.

It don't hurt to call and try. I have done this in the past and some ress I could and other ress I couln't. Good Luck!

It will depend on availability for each restaurant on the date/time you want. If they say "no", ask about a separate ADR for two. If you still can't get what you need, keep calling each day as cancelations do occur. Good luck!

We had a reservation for five at California Grill on Mother's Day weekend. At some point, about a month out, four more people decided to go. We weren't able to get a larger table, but we were able to get a reservation for two tables. The CM told me that they would try to put us all at the same table or at adjoining tables, which was fine. As it turned out, the other four cancelled, so we never found out what they would have done.

We had to do that last year when my parents decided to come along at the last minute. Most of the ADRs we were able to add them, some we had to change the time by an hour or less and some they had a seperate reservation. The restaurants where they had seperate reservations were very accomodating and we were always seated together. I'm not saying you'll get the same results we did, but you should definitly try.

They will not be able to add more people to an existing ADR. What you will have to do is call and try to schedule new ADRs with the correct count. The chances of the same time slots being available is slim to none, depending on what time of year you are going and how far away it is. Your best bet is to call and talk to the CM to see what can be done to help you out.
