reservations with combinations of points.

So say I make a reservation for part of the week in a unit with my home points, and then I want to reserve the additional days at 7 mo with another contract. If I reserve the same room type, will I be risking having to move rooms because the reservation is made with two separate contracts? Is there a way to combine the reservations into one, or will it always be two separate reservations?

As long as the reservations are for the same resort and category of room and view, you can call MS and have them link the two reservations, which will assure you will not have to change rooms although you may have to do a mini check out and check in on the turnover date closing out one account and opening another and getting new room keys.

Back in the old days, it would have been one reservation. But since they got the new computer system in 2011, it can only link them and not make it one reservation.
