Reservations when not everyone is on DDP

We are traveling to WDW in October, and I have a question about making reservations when not everyone has DDP. My husband and 2 kids are not on DDP because we cannot add it when using his airline employee rate. My dad and his wife just booked today to join us for part of our trip and they booked DDP. My question is can I make dining reservations for all 6 of us even though they are on DDP and we are not?

Sure! You just need to tell your server that only some of you are on the plan. They will split your bill for you.
