Reservations: Resever 6 and 3 back out does the whole res get Canceled

We are coming up to our 180 days to make a reservation for dinner with another couple out of state. Three in our family and three in theirs. I want to reserve Crystal Palace and California Grill. If I reserve 6 of us and they back out at the last week will we still be able to keep the 3 person reservation? or do I have to make a new reservation? I’m not worried about the $10 canceling fee that’s not what I’m asking.

They will still seat you. We had it happen last year when 2 got sick and it was not an issue at any of our ADRs.

You'll be seated. Also, if they back out early enough you can just call & change the number on the reservation & save the penalty. No need to cancel completely.
