Reservations for Xmas 03

We called day by day as you guys recommended and managed to get reservations for a studio at BCV Xmas day through New Years! Today I got a busy signal for an hour straight until I got through - I was starting to get worried. Question - Is it totally unrealistic to hope to switch some of our days to a WLV studio at the 7 month window? Should I try day-by-day calling again for the 1st day of the period May 26th for Xmas day, etc.?

Just reposting this thread to see if anybody will give me there opinion about possibility of changing to WLV.

It's not unrealistic at all. Decide how much you are willing to move, if necessary, and then start booking at the 7 month window. If that's what you'd really like to do, I would go with the day-by-day system again at 7 months. You could also go to the wait list for any missing days as they are likely to come through before your trip. The trickiest day is usually New Year's Eve.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think I'll call at the beginning of the 7 month window, and see how many consecutive days we can get. I don't think we'll want to move more than once. Something tells me that my wife and I will enjoy New Year's Eve at Epcot. We're 53 years old and not into the "party scene" much any more, so Epcot might be just the ticket.
