Reservations for Tours?

Can you make reservations for the tours at any time, or do you need to wait until the 90 day window? (For instance, the Epcot Aqua Seas Tour?)

(I tried to make a reservation, but I was told that they could not make it until 90 days out. I have not seen this anywhere else and I was wondering if some of you who have done a Keys to the Kingdom Tour or Aqua Seas Tour would know.)

I just tried to make reservations for May and was told that the 2006 books weren't open yet. I was told to try in September. So I don't know what the time frame is. It could depend on the popularity of the tour. Maybe call back to see if they can give you some kind of time frame?

Well, that wasn't much help was it??

Ditto .
I just tried last week to book Back Stage Magic for May '06 and was told that they haven't started on 2006 tours yet. I got the impression that once they opened the books it would be for all of 2006. I was also told to check back in Sept.

It WAS helpful because it tells me that perhaps the tours aren't on the 90 days wait! I'll call again.

Thanks!
Julie

The first time I tried to book our tours for christmas week (backstage magic and segway) the CM told me you had to book at the 90 day window. I had read on here that this was not the case so I phoned back a few days later and booked both tours no problem. I would definately call back.

Not sure which number you are calling, but CRO and my travel agent both said I couldn't book a tour until the 90 day mark. I called 407-WDW-TOUR and booked our October tour in March. The guide books say you may book up to a year in advance. Keep calling! :)

I booked the Backstage Magic tour for December 14th on May 3rd. Call back and try again. Ask to speak to a supervisor if necessary.

Ken

We booked the Family Magic Tour on April 21 for December 5. Call tours directly at 407-939-8687.

Finally got it! I had to call three times before I got someone who would even check. Once she had booked it, I asked her, and she said, "Our official policy is that it must be booked 90 days out, but the books are actually open earlier if you check." Oh, Disney.

Go figure.

I just booked "Around the World on a Segway" & "Undiscovered Future World" 11 months in advance! :cool1: DW & I are going the week of July 2, 2006 & I booked on August 12th, 2005. WOW!!!

It took two phone calls. The first CM was really confused. She said the policy had changed & these were now walk-up tours. :confused3 I tried again & got a wonderful CM. She looked it up & said yes, she could book them. Got 15% off both tours for using my Disney Visa.

As you can see below, we've done the Segway tour before. Great fun!

Did you have to pay in full when you booked or did you pay a deposit?

I'm not sure you HAVE to, but I did.

But don't forget to mention your AAA.. I save over $40.00 on 2 tours for 2 people... well worth it!!! (they will also credit it back if you have already paid!!!

How much is the AAA discount? I received something from Disney Visa that said tours have a 20% discount when you use your Disney Visa. Two of the tours have a 15% discount with the Disney Visa. Is the AAA discount better?

I've received a 15% discount for Disney Visa, not 20%. http://www.allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm also says 15% for Disney Visa. Not sure about AAA.
