Hello!

We (me, my 9 year old son, my friend and her 8 year old niece) are going to Disney at the end of January. :woohoo:

I am looking forward to going to HS, for the Jedi training, etc. So, my question is, should we make reservations for the Fantasmic package? Is it worth it? We do have the MYW dining plan, so we have 1 table service meal a day. Which restaurant should we go to? My crew is pretty much the pizza and burgers menu type folks - not real adventerous!

Also, according to the touring plans, the busiest day is DHS's EMH in the evening, so should we go that day or skip it? :confused3 We just have the basic tickets - not the park hopper, so we can't go to one park and come back to HS just for the evening.

I am kind of worried about locking us into ADR's, when I would rather play it by ear, and see which park we want to go to each day. At the end of January, is it hard to get into restaurants, or make last minute reservations?

Please help - I'm all confused!!

Thanks!!

we did not do the fp the day we wanted to do jedi training. we split up and dh went straight to sign up the kids and i to tsm fp. as it was we had a full day trying to get everything in. there were 2 shows, went for the later fantasmic and it was much easier to get in. more of the fp were earlier lunch or earlier dinner time reservations so we still go a table service in that evening before the later show. the jedi training just finished in time for that adr too which worked out. it's hard to be tied down to the adr's and try to get everything in, but check and see if there is a later fantasmic show that evening to allow yourself time to get everything accomplished.

Don't mean to hyjack, but what is the Jedi training?

At Hollywood studios they "fight" with those jedi ppl (sorry but i suck with start wars lingo). its a bit of a show they put on. Really neat to see. im sure you can find some clips on YouTube.

Been 3 times in January and except for Character dining you should have no problem "playing it by ear"
