I have a question - we have in-park reservations at Crys Palace (MK) and Tusker (AK) for breakfast that are around 8:05 am. Has anyone else had reservations at either of these around this timeframe? If so, my questions is - after you waited, were seated, had breakfast, met a few characters, and then paid the bill -were you able to get out on or before park official opening? Anyone actually end up being late to get to the attractions as a result of incidents at these restaurants?

Also - anyone ever had ressies at Chef Mickey's at around 8:05 am and had to get to Hollywood Studios? That one sounds like a real stretch.

We ate at CP in December. We had 815am ressies but we were seated at the 805 opening. We finished up and got out of the restaurant around 905-910. It seemed to take a while to get done with the check. Being on the dining plan made it a little longer (they bring you a regular receipt, you give them the card, they bring you another receipt for the tip and then you pay the tip and we paid with a CC). If I were you, ask for the check ahead of time so you can get that out of the way. My DD2.5 also eats quite slowly, but I believe it was the check thing that made us late getting in the park.

Despite getting out at the time we did, we stopped for a photopass photo in front of the castle, walked through the castle and took pics of the interior, and then headed back to Dumbo and only had about a 10 minute wait. Not too bad, but lots of people had entered the park at that time.

We did Tusker House also, but our ressie was 850. We were seated around 830 so I can't comment on getting into the park early for that one, but I would imagine if you do the same and ask for the check ahead of time it will help you out tremendously.

Have a great trip!

did 8am breakfast at Tusker house a week ago on Monday - we got out just on 9am after seeing everybody:cool1: went straight to Safari and got a fastpass then round to Everest and rode twice in a row & also got fastpasses for that.

Can't comment on Tusker House or CP, but we always get an 8am ADR for Akershus in Norway before the park opens. We are usually done about 10 minutes before the park opens which is awesome because you feel like the you got the whole park to yourself. It also makes for some really wonderful picture taking too :goodvibes

We had an 8:05 at CRT and saw allllll of the princesses and had our time with Cinderella downstairs and we got finished right before rope drop at the castle. It was mayhem with everyone trying to get to Dumbo first. I would have actually preferred getting out a little later and missing all of the agressive mamas pushing to be first with their kids on Dumbo. :scared1:

That's exactly what our plan is!!

We have an 8:05 ADR at CP every year. Ask for your bill right when you sit down and place your drink order. We are always done before rope drop.
