I am looking forward to making my ADRs in a few months. We will be travelling with some friends and I am hoping to get ADRs at places like
CRT, LeCellier, CP, etc... Will it be more difficult to get reservations for 8 people???

I am going in sept. and I booked last week and got everything I wanted for 8 people. You just have to call early enough, or you may get 2 tables of 4, with no guarantee to be near each other... Although I never had a problem not being near each other.

Call when the line opens on your 180 day mark. I was making reservations for 6 and got everything I wanted at the exact times I wanted. I had to vary one reservations by 20 minutes and that was it. Good luck!

We got reservations for 8 at most of the restaurants we wanted, except Yak and Yeti. We had to get two tables for 4. We're leaving in a week, and we just booked ADRs this week, so we were happy with what we got.

I made our ADR's a couple of weeks ago for Sept. We have 9 people going and had no problem. We will be split among 2 tables at some restaurants, but that's ok. They're are many tables that seat 9!:)

We'll have 8 in our party when we're going in Sept. I called at exactly 180 + 10 days out at 7 am. Got everything I wanted except for Le Cellier's & Mama Melrose. For those restaurants, we got 2 tables of 4. If you're flexible with your times, then you should be ok. With Le Cellier's, they had an 8 top available after 8 pm, but our baby is used to going to sleep at 7:30 & probably would not be too happy with that. At Mama's, I wanted reservations early enough to catch Fantasmic afterwards and didn't want to feel rushed through dinner.

Thanks for asking this! We will be a party of 7 and I was worried it would be difficult to make reservations for us all!

Thanks everyone for continuing to give your input. I don't mind having to split into two tables if we have to. We have little ones, so I was hoping that we would be able to get decent dining times w/ such a lg. party....sounds like this should work out if we call at our 180 day mark.

I just made some reservations for 7 and for 11 for August just last week (only 4 months away). I had no problem getting anything I wanted to include the 50s prime time, the plaza and LeCellier/lunch. Keep in mind that sometimes they will tell you that they are booking you with 2 tables (or more) and when you check in, the restraurant will do everything they can to put you together, but sometimes they just can't get you all in one table. We have been split at the Plaza, CRT-dinner, Coral Reef on past trips. We have managed one table at: LeCellier, 50s Prime Time, Whisperering Canyon, Trails End, Concourse SH. Good luck!

We made ADRs for 9 people - some at the 180 day mark and some just this week (34 days!! :cool1: ) We were able to get everything we wanted and stay seated together as long as we were a tiny bit flexible on time. We got Hoop-De-Doo at 180 days out, Crystal Palace around 180 days but I had to go from 12:30 to 11:30 for lunch - no big deal since I'd rather we all sit together. We got Prime Time Cafe but canceled, Whispering Canyon and Tutto Italia just this week (had to do 5:45 instead of 6:30.) The only thing I couldn't get when I called this week was Chef Mickeys unless I wanted to show up at 7am - no thanks!! :rotfl:
