Reservations for 3 but only 2 eat is this possible?

We have a reservation at O'hana's for 3. The issue I am having is that there really is nothing on the menu that DH can really eat. Will they do any special requests? My daughter loves this place and it was the only place she asked to eat at when she found out we were going back to DW so I am hesitant to cancel. I am wondering if they would make him something he could eat or would they just let him drink and he could eat something else before or after? I will call tomorrow and ask but I thought maybe some of you wonderful folks here may already know the answer. Thanks!

I am not sure he can be there an not be charged, since it is a family-style buffet. I have seen some mention that their kids were able to get some basic typical items that would be found on the kids menu - chicken nuggets, fries, hot dogs. Not sure if that would be something that he was able to eat. Maybe calling would be the best to get the most specific info from the restaurant directly.

When we were there last year there were a bunch of people who had chicken tenders and mac and cheese. I was surprised that there were grown ups eating that.

He will be charged full price. Just the way it is at aycte places at Disney.

Not sure if they'll accommodate special requests or not.

'Ohana is a family style all you care to eat restaurant so everyone at the table will be charged whether they eat or not. We've seen families that were served mac and cheese and chicken nuggets, but not a completely different entree.

There is no way to call the restaurant. The dining line would not be able to give you an accurate answer because it will depend on who is working at the restaurant on the day you dine.

Is he allergic to what is served? Does he have special dietary concerns due to a health condition?

They prepared food special for my father. They grilled everything plain and when he didn't like that, they brought him a steak and fries. No additional charge.

I know if you contact ahead of time for say vegetarian they can make accomodations. I would contact the link above.

I would go in and eat with DD and leave DH at the bar.

Everyone is charged full price at All You Care to Eat restaurants, whether they eat anything or not. I agree with the thought to go with your daughter and meet up with DH after. He can wait there at the Poly for you or go off on his own and do something else.

Before you are seated, please discuss this with when you check in. 'Ohana is an expensive restaurant and until the Chef knows your DH special needs, there is no way to know if he will be accomodated, and if the accomodation will be worth the amount that you are paying for this meal.

Once you know, then decide if it is a better plan for you and your DD to enjoy your meal and let DH find an alternative, or if your DH will be satisfied with his choice. I can say that I would prefer to be informed be=fore I committed to all of us having an expensive meal and finding nothing for my DH to eat.

I would do dinner with my.kid alone and send husband somewhere more his taste
