Reservations for 2, but 3rd may be joining

We have an ADR for 2 people, but I have another that might be joining us. There are no more ADRs
that day for 3. Will we be turned away? I can keep trying for 3, but if I can't get it, I might have to cancel. Thanks!

Call Disney Dining and they may be able to adjust it. I know they did for me. It wasn't even an issue.

In our experience it completely depends on the CM at the counter. The issue is they have specific 2 person tables so those are easy to book up and cycle. The this person often makes those tables unusable. We've seen some CMs just flat tell people no and others try and help work the person in. It may well just depend on how busy and booked the restaurant is at the time.

Well, you will have an option. You can leave (if there isn't a seat available for one more) and pay the $10/person fee or you can still eat there and the other person would have to find somewhere else to eat.

I would try calling to see if they can add just one to your party. I would also keep looking until 24 hours before to see if anything opens up. You could also search for another table for 2 or just 1 around the same time and if you are able to find one ask when you get to the restaurant if you are able to be seated together.

I would call directly and let the CM help you. Maybe a table for 4 would work. The reservation system has issues with odd numbers at times.

As stated, you need a Plan B. They may or may not sit you as a party of 3. IF they say no, what will you do? Will you all leave and pay the $20 no show charge? Or will the extra person eat alone? Or will you cancel the night before and avoid the charge?
You best bet is to keep trying for an ADR for 3. Cancellations do occur

I would do what the PPs said and call. If it's a restaurant like BOG, the 2 person tables are very close together. There is no way to put a 3rd person at those tables, so a place like that wouldn't be able to accommodate you unless they had other larger empty tables.
