Well this last week, I hit my 180 day mark and like any responsible adult that has to be at work at 6am, I arranged to show up late so I could book my ADRs. Now I am a planning freak and most of these choices have been in the works for months already. I will preface this by saying it is just my wife and I and we will NOT be getting the dining plan. I am a fat guy that loves food and I just think the dining plan is too much food. It has always stopped us from trying snacks and really sampling what Disney World has to offer. We also will be getting a 10 pass (without park hopper) So this is what we came up with. Unless I list otherwise, breakfast is in our room...I appreciate all comments and suggestions

Day 1
We will arrive at Kidani Village around 2pm
Dinner - Boma

Day 2
Epcot
Lunch - world showcase snacks
Dinner - Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'

Day 3
Magic Kingdom
Lunch - Columbia Harbor House
Dinner - Geyser Point

Day 4
Animal Kingdom (we are going to share stuff on this day and sample all we want)
Lunch - Harambe Market, Tamu Tamu Refreshments
Dinner - Nomad Lounge, Satu'li Canteen

Day 5
Hollywood Studios
Lunch - Sci Fi Dine-in Theater
Dinner - Drink/snack around Disney Springs (Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar is stop 1)

Day 6
Sleeping in this day
Brunch - California Grill
Dinner - World Showcase for the afternoon/evening. Snacks galore ;-)

Day 7
Hollywood Studios
Lunch - 50's Prime Time (a tradition and personal favorite)
Dinner - Another Disney Springs snacking/drinks night (Morimoto Street Food maybe?)

Day 8
Magic Kingdom
Lunch - Sleepy Hollow
Dinner - Dinner and drinks around the Polynesian (Tambu Lounge, Captain Cooks, Trader Sams)

Day 9
Animal Kingdom
Breakfast - Boma
Lunch - snack somewhere
Dinner - Frontera Cocina (we are big Food Network fans and have always been drawn to Rick Bayless' food)

Day 10
Epcot
Lunch and Dinner - around world showcase

Day 11
Last day in the parks
Magic Kingdom - going to do open to close and hopefully After Hours if it is back this year
Lunch - The Plaza
Dinner - Wherever we want...snacks?

Day 12 - we go home :-(

The food choices sound good.

My main concern is the amount of time spent going to Disney Springs (unless you drive or Uber/Minnie Van).. and hopefully not back to a park for a night show.

That is my concern as well. I know we will be using one of the point to point services (Uber/Lyft/Minnie Van) for a couple of the trips to Disney Springs and probably take the bus back. That is my only reservation as well BUT there are so many appealing options as well. This my 10th trip to Disney World and my wife's 3rd trip. This is a 10 year late honeymoon and we plan on a pretty casual approach to everything. Not really looking to kill ourselves to do rides...the first 3-4 days in the parks will be more intense and then pretty low pace, do what you want kind of trip.

The other thing was we planned our Disney Springs nights around specific days. The first day in Epcot we are primarily going to do Future World and a couple countries. The Hollywood Studios days are because there really isn't much left at HS so 4-6 hours is plenty there and we can chill the rest of the day. The last trip to Disney Springs is a little forced but both of us wanted to go to Frontera pretty bad so why not I guess?

If you are looking to spend the evening at Disney Springs, then you should be fine.
I hate feeling "rushed" if I'm trying to get back to fireworks, etc.

Yeah I can get that. I don't like feeling rushed anywhere....EVER. I think we are doing fireworks/night shows on specific evenings and they aren't the ones we are in Disney Springs.

Love all your choices - some of our favorites, and some of the new places we want to try. I will say that I always love the idea of "snacking around" a park for lunch or dinner, and we have done it a few times (we never do DP either), but sometimes the family complains about wasting park time standing in all the kiosk lines. As long as you two are fine with that - go for it!!

My only suggestion would be for your big MK day (Day 11). You may actually want to add an ADR for dinner too, only because you may be tired by dinner, and a sit down meal might be a good time to rest up for the late evening to come.

Great plan.

We went back and forth to DS from AKL and used the bus. We had no issues. It wasn't even that long of a trip. Might save you $20-40 you could spend on snacks or souvenirs.

The only problem I see with your list, is you forgot to mention Dole Whips at Pineapple Lanai at the Poly :thumbsup2

For those Disney Springs nights where you're coming from a park don't hesitate to utilize the SSR busses and get off at Congress Park stop and walk over to the Marketplace side of DS. I've experienced plenty of people doing that while staying at SSR. I thought they had also mentioned a while back that busses from parks to DS would start running after 4pm?

My only 2 "adds" would be to make sure you hit Sanaa if you're staying in Kidani Village anyways. And I can't go to AK without hitting Flame Tree BBQ. Have a great trip!!!!!
