Reservations at CP

I not sure it I should be posting here so I'm sorry if I am in the wrong spot. We will be in WDW n a few weeks and i was not able to get a reservation at CP. Has anyone went there without one? If yes approx how long was the wait? My DH is not a big fan on WDW and CP is the only place he wants to eat and I didn't get a reservation thanks in advance

I would keep checking online every day until the day you leave for an ADR. CP is always packed and I would think the wait would be very long if they took you as a walk in. It's a very popular place.

Definitely keep checking. After being unable to get a CP reservation for our upcoming trip I was able to get one today for 11/29.

They will usually take walk-ups at non-peak times (as in, after 10 for breakfast, after 2 until about 4 for lunch, after 8 for dinner), we've done it a couple of times in the last few years and waited 45 minutes to an hour or so each time. (We used the cell-phone relay; one of us stayed on CP's porch with the buzzer and the others went to watch the castle show or walk through the Swiss Family treehouse while we waited, to be called back when the buzzer went off.)

CP does get packed at peak times, like an earlier poster mentioned, and the wait with an ADR can be 15-30 minutes sometimes.
