If am staying at the resort and book a reservation at a restaurant inside one of the parks -- do I need to also purchase a park ticket in order to go there?

I am planning on staying at DVC room and I don't plan on visiting the parks. I wanted to know if that would limit me to only places outside the parks.

Thanks!

Park admission is required for dining inside the parks. If you don't buy a park ticket, then you only options are the resort dining and DTD.

Just curious as to why you are staying on property when you don't want to go to the parks. It's so much cheaper to stay outside of WDW.

And, yes the last poster is right you need to by a ticket to the parks if you want to eat in the parks.

i am so amazed that someone can actually go anywhere near Disney, let alone be staying on property, and not visit the parks!!! :confused3 For me, it would just seem like there was a huge magnet pulling me to go in the parks... amazing!!

Many DVCers stay and do not visit the parks. There are plenty of dining options without going into the parks
