Reservations after park close time?

Hey, so i'm looking at the reservations for MK... some of the times are after 6 pm. Is this a system issue, or how are they handling these?

No it's not a system issue. You will be allowed to stay for your reservation. And then will have an almost empty park as you leave!!! If I was there I would be booking all my reservations after park close.

We had a 6:50 LTT ADR on Tuesday and the MK closed at 6 PM. Highly recommend. Got some amazing, once in a lifetime photos and we were the last folks to leave the MK that evening. Dinner was super and we were not rushed at all.

What time did you end up leaving the park? Did they provide transportation back to your resort?

I think we left the MK around 8:20ish. We are at the Swan but drove that day so we were in the MK parking lot. A Disney bus driver took us back to the lot. The driver said they would never leave anyone behind so yes, you can get back to your resort. If unsure on what to do there are always plenty of CM’s to ask!

Thanks for that bit of info! we went ahead and got the CRT for 6:40. I know the experience is not as good without the characters, but I'm really into being in the park after close.

i know you were already convinced but i loved my 50's prime time reservation last week that was at 7:30. the park closed at 7 and we watched everyone flood out of the park. got a near empty picture in front of the chinese theater even before our reservation.

we were leaving the park a little after 8:30 and there were just a few stragglers (and only about 10 cars in the parking lot). we wanted to go down towards tower of terror since i LOVE it lit up at night and it is my favorite attraction. but they had a security guard posted at the entrance of sunset blvd and i didn't want to bug him.

i know a poster on another thread had an Oga's Cantina reservation for after park close and got escorted out of the park by a CM. But before doing so, took incredible photos of Galaxy's Edge at night with no one else to be seen.

For me, this would be considered a huge perk of going right now!!!!
