Reservations- 180 versus 90 days

I have another food-related Disney question for everyone. When my DH and I took our most recent trip to Disney World (in the summer of '08) we were able to book dining and other guest experiences at the parks 180 days from the beginning of our stay. I assumed that things would continue to go that way for our upcoming trip in June/July 2010. However, I've seen some indication both on this board and elsewhere that reservations are now down to 90 days for most of the dining and experiences... but remain at 180 days for some others.

Any help digging digging through our confusion on this would be most appreciated. Glad to be a new member on Disboards!!

Everything is now 90 days, with the exception of Cirque du Soleil and Grand Gatherings activities.

If you stay on-site, you can use the 90+10, meaning 90 days out from your trip, you can book 10 days worth of reservations.

So to be clear, it's not just dining... but EVERYTHING including guest experiences that have moved to 90+10? (Cirque and Grand Gatherings not withstanding, of course). Thanks for the help.

That is my understanding, but I haven't personally tried to book anything other than dining and a cruise since they changed it (and the cruise was 90 before anyway).

T Rex, which is owned by Landry, is available at 180 days if you call the restaurant directly. It's the only exception and it's only an exception if you call them directly.

To further muddle matters, T Rex releases a tiny portion of their tables to the Disney Dining line. These aren't available until 90 days, and because they release so few tables they get picked up fast. Giving the impression that T-Rex is hard to get.
