I just decided to take my 3 kids to WDW for a few days during our February school vacation. We will fly down on Monday 2/20 and home on Friday 2/24. The spring code that is available covers from 2/21 on. Will I be able to make one reservation for all four nights but get the discount for the last three nights? If I have to make two seperate reservations, how does that work? Thanks for any help!

You will have to make two seperate reservations and they will do everything they can to keep you in the same room

As the pp said, you will need to make 2 separate reservations. As long as you book the same room category for all nights, you can have the CM link the reservations together and put in a request to keep the same room. When you check in for the first ressie, tell the CM that you have a continuing reservation and would like to keep the same room if possible. Keeping the same room is not a guarantee and some have reported having to change rooms in this situation, but Disney will do everything they can to not move you.

I've had to do this twice because of the way the dates for the AP discounts and bounceback deals fell. The first time I had to switch rooms (all the way across the resort:headache:). The second time (just this past Nov 26th-Dec 4th) they let me stay in the same room. Both times I had the phone CM link them when I first made the reservations and then mentioned it again at check in. Both times was at CSR. Not sure why they made me change rooms the first time, but CSR is a convention resort and I wondered if maybe a group of conventioneers were checking in and maybe needed to be together. That't the only reason I could come up with.:confused3 However, MissyTara has posted that she had to switch rooms once at PORS (same building, but different room).

It wasn't a big deal though. I just had to go down early the next morning and recheck back in and get a new room key. With the first stay (when I had to switch rooms) they offered to move my bags for me.
