I was able to find you a savanah view studio at AKV for check in 1/2 and check out 1/8 - but the evening of 1/8 is booked. This is somewhat due to the WDW marathon weekend (the half marathon is on the 9th). So - the first 6 nights are available - but right now, the last night is not. It could be waitlisted though...

I am looking for $10/point. I could reserve the first 6 nights and then wait list the last night. It could open up.

Funny - I will be there from 1/7 - 1/12 at AKL and am running the half on Saturday. I called exactly 11 months out and was not able to book AKL concierge... but waitlisted it and got it. So - wait lists do come through.

thanks - I sent you an e-mail as well with some other options. So maybe concierge is equally booked. I wonder what I do if the 8th doesn't come through. It is still early however. - I'm going out of town tomorrow and will be back Saturday afternoon - let me think on this one a bit. It sounds like if I want AKV I better think fast. Have you stayed there before? - Is it really great? - thanks for your help - Lisa

Yes - AKV is wonderful. We stayed there in January in the Jambo house. We really enjoyed it. The resort is gorgeous.

As for the 8th, you could book a back up room through Disney and we can wait list that night. If the wait list comes through - you cancel the Disney direct reservation. If it does not come through, you would at least have a room. You would have to switch rooms, but it would still work out.

I have sent you an email as well. Just get back to me when you can. I understand the hesitation. It is a big chunk of change (but a big savings over Disney direct)...so, think about it and let me know.
