Reservation/ use year question

My use year is December. I am out of UY points for 2010 which I just got in Dec. I would like to call next week and make a ressie for 12/2011 using my UY 2011 points. First, is this possible? Second, if I can make this ressie and then we decide to cancel our trip before my banking deadline, am I correct in assuming that those points would be eligible to bank because they aren't borrowed? Yes, that's possible, and you could later bank them.

Try to think about when will be going instead of when you call. You are going in 2011 use year so yes you will have the points then.

As long as you cancel 31 days before your trip, they will simply stay in your 2011 use year and will be available to bank if want to.
