Reservation System Difficulties, Anyone?

Hi all,

I've been trying to get a quote online at the WDW reservation site for, oh, about a week and a half now. Each and every time I try, I (eventually) get the message:

We apologize for the inconvenience, our reservation system is currently down for maintenance and we are unable to process package or room reservations at this time.
However, if you would like to purchase tickets only, visit our online ticket store now.


Am I missing something? Initially I couldn't even begin a quote, now I can select a hotel, select park pass options, and THEN I get the error.

I'm getting pretty desperate to get the quote done. Any ideas? I've looked on Google and other boards to see if I'm missing something about their system being closed, but the most I found was that the system was expected to be "down" through Jan. 5th, long since passed.

The system has been unavailable for quite a bit the last couple of weeks.
 
What are they doing in that I.T. Dept!? I am betting that some heads are rolling after the fiasco with the computer system and the darn dining plan. Did they not plan this at all prior to 1/2?
