My date for making restaurant reservations is approaching and I was hoping for advice on strategy.

My understanding is that bookings open at 6:00 AM EST. Is it typically easiest to do this from your desktop or from the app? I tend to go desktop for making travel plans, but wasn't sure if there were any advantage to doing it in the app.

The reservations I am trying for are:

Beak & Barrell
Space 220 Lounge
Oga's Cantina
Hollywood Brown Derby
Via Napoli
Cape May Cafe Breakfast

We are also staying at Swan/Dolphin so I will book our down day dinners at Kimonos and Rosa Mexicano.

Curious about the order of what to shoot for first (as in which reservation to go for right at 6:00 am and following). I feel like it should be in the order that I have listed due to popularity. However Oga's and Cape May are the specific asks of my family and do not want to miss out on those if I prioritize something else to book first.

Any thoughts on how fast the reservations for the others may book up? For reference we will be there the week of Thanksgiving so I know it will be busy and reservations needed.

I’d agree on the order of prioritizing though it might matter how many days to your trip and which days you’d prefer to do what. Say you wanted HBD on Day 2 and Oga’s Cantina on Day 6, then you might want to change the order.

Which device you use should probably be the one you feel the most comfortable using. I've never actually thought one is 'faster' technically than the other. I worked at a PC most of my life, so I'm more comfortable navigating and typing on a keyboard. My spouse is much more comfortable on the app.

Which order you book could be impacted by how long you're staying and which days you want which reservation. Obviously, the ADRs you want at 60 days plus 2/3/4/5 into your reservation will be easier than those right at 60 days. Good luck with your booking!
