I just made all of our dining reservations :cool1: and one of the nights, 2 people from our party is going to France, and 4 of us are going to Italy, pretty much at the same time. I remember a while back that if Disney saw conflicting reservations under one reservation number, they would not only cancle those 2 reservations, but everything you have. Should I call the hotline and talk to someone, or will it be OK?

TIA

I made multiple reservations last year when another family was coming with us. I had a funny feeling they werent going to make it so I made one reservation for my family and another including them. I cancelled most of them after I found out they werent making it but kept a few for days my family who living in Florida might come up. I never had an issue with any of our reservations being cancelled.

I called just to be sure - The CM told me that I infact could NOT have 2 reservations on the same day at the same time under one last name. So I had to change my parents to their last name, and now all is well. I also made our daughters BBB reservations for 2 hours before our meal at CRT. Can't wait!!!!!

I'm actually suprised they told you that you cannot have 2 reservations for the same time. Can anyone give an officially Disney policy on it? (I never believe anything the CMs at customer service say). I have done it the past two years and never had a problem. I get a prompt online that says you have conflicting reservations and asks if you want to cancel one or keep both. It then says to please look over your reservations and cancel any unnessecary reservations but nowhere does it say that you can or will lose all your reservations for conflicting ones. 2 years ago, we had a group of 9 and I believe at one point I had 3 at the same time for the night we were splitting up and a lot of them for 2 at the same time for when we would get different lunches or dinners. Last year we did the same thing with a party of 4 for separate meals and I've never had an issue.

You can, but sometimes if a CM catches you they will delete one or both of your reservations. Doesn't happen constantly but apparently it has happened. It's probably best to make concurrent reservations under different names if possible.
