Reservation Question

OK, here is the scenario. I make a reservation today for a long w/e in December at WL. I book a standard room at the rack rate. If AP rates come out after I make the reservation, all I have to do is call and have CRO add the AP rate code and, presto, I get the reduced rate? As long as I have a previous reservation, am I guaranteed to get the AP rate as long as I call and tell them to add the AP rate code? Thanks.

Bill

No, you're not guaranteed of getting the AP rate. AP discounts, like most others, are released with a limited number available. Once they apply that number of discounts, they're gone.

You won't have to re-book the reservation, but you don't have any better chance of getting the AP discount than someone who has no reservation at all.

If you call CRO as soon as the AP rates are released your chances are good.... just make sure you call first thing that morning when the codes are released.

If you book through a service like dreams unlimited they will automatically switch your rate when the ap's come out.

Good Luck! :)

Thanks for the replies. I will keep this in mind when booking and make sure if I book a room on my own, to keep up with when those AP rates are announced.
