Reservation Question

My DH and I will be spending 8 nights at PORFQ this August. My questions is, my parents are thinking about joining us for a couple of days as a quick getaway, they have had a stresful year and just need a little break. Instead of them getting an extra room, can I just add them to my reservation for a couple of nights and they can just stay in our room? And if so, does anyone know the additional cost of that? Yes, you can certainly add them onto your reservation when they get there. It is $15 per night for each parent.

If you have a room only reservation, you can do that and you will pay the extra adult fee for each of them - I think at a moderate resort, that is $15/night or $30 total.

If you have a package, they would have to have all the same package components that you have - tickets and DDP (if you have that) + pay the extra adult fees.

I have had packages every year, and have had local friends meet me for a few days. It doesn't matter whether you have a package or room-only reservation.

My friends usually check in mid-week and we pay the additional $15.00 per extra adult over two adults. We have not had to purchase packages for them, and they have annual passes, so all they need is lodging for a few nights. Since I don't have a car (I fly down), they use my parking pass.

If you have a package, they don't need to be on your package unless they want to be pre-registered and take advantage of Magical Express.

Missytara is correct IF you add them after arrival at the resort. You can't put them on your package in advance though, because then you will be required to buy tickets/DDP to match what you already have.

And they can't use ME if they are arriving with you (same day) and you want to add them at check-in.

Thanks for the responses, we actually live in Jacksonville, FL, so it is a room only resevation, as we alreay have annual passes, and they would drive as we live so close. It's nice to know that if they wish, they can join us for a couple of days with not a lot of added expense. Thanks everyone!!!
