Reservation Policies

I am looking for the different reservation (deposit/cancelation) policies for if we were to book through CRO, DC, WDTC, DU, etc.

If you have links to a website or other relevant threads that would be great. (I think the search function here is still off.)

Hi!

Dreams Unlimited Travel is an agency specializing in Disney travel destinations. They book directly with Disney so your deposit/cancellation policies are established by Disney. Here is a DU FAQ for more info:

WDTC typically requires a $200 deposit with the balance due 45 days prior to arrival. Cancellation penalties begin if you cancel less than 45 days prior to arrival. Most "packages" are booked through the WDTC computer.

Disney Club reservations (regardless of whether or not is a package or room-only "Basic Plan") are booked through WDTC and require a $100 deposit with balance due 21 days prior to arrival. Disney Club has different cancellation penalties so you need to inquire at time of reservation. Typically, you may cancel 5 days prior to arrival without penalty. If you book air with a Disney Club reservation, you will need to pay your balance 45 days prior to arrival.

CRO books room-only reservations and one night's room rate plus tax is required for deposit. Your balance is paid at check-in. Cancellation may be made up to 5 days prior without penalty. If you cancel less than 5 days out, Disney keeps your deposit.

Keep in mind that certain package codes/reservations may have different cancellation procedures so you always need to inquire about cancellation policies when you make a reservation.

Can I use DU to book a room only? If I find a better rate or a better code, can I email my TA and have her/him check & apply if applicable? Can I use DU to buy PH tickets?

Hi Angie!

Yes, you can use Dreams Unlimited to book room-only reservations. Here is a link to the reservations menu just so you can see the different options:

One of the options on the link above is for ticket sales, too.

One of the features of the DU service is that they do look for better discounts for you. If you happen to see a code, you may always email your agent, too. Depending on availability, he/she can modify your reservation with the new rate. Agents typically check new codes for their clients.
