Reservation "points" at Disneyland hotel

Changed DVC points into reservation points and made a reservation at the Disneyland hotel. Home hotel VGC was not available for any dates during our stay when I booked. Asked about the parking/resort fee for regular guests and after being put on hold for 5 minutes, was told since I am using points, there is no charge. Anyone have first hand experience with this? I don't want a resort fee charge for the either 6 or 8 nights we are staying at check out.

We didn't have the fee when we stayed at DLH on points in 2008.

Yep no fees for us either when we stayed at DLH on points in 2009.

Not sure when you are going, but the Disneyland Hotel is undergoing a total reconstruction right now. The towers are in the process of, or have already been, remodeled from the bare concrete up. The pool area is torn up while they construct a new pool, and the grounds are being redone as well. Hopefully it will be finished by the time you arrive.

Just as an FYI, they don't have resort fees anymore, just parking fees for those who have a car.

and I think the parking fees are being waived when staying on points now (like the resort fees were).

We stayed at the GCV and PPH on points in March and there was no charge for parking because our entire stay was on points.
