If you have made a reservation at your home resort, Can you modify your reservation 6am at 7 months to any open resort or do you have to cancel and then rebook?

You can modify at 8 am exactly at 7 months.

If you have more than one home resort, it will not let you swap points unless there is room still and those other points are banked or borrowed.

If you want to actual use points that are considered current UY at another resort for the time of the trip, then you have to book new at the beginning or end as your home resort contract will be locked.

You can modify to another resort, so you keep your old reservation until the new resort is fully confirmed.

Just noting that the booking windows open 8 am EASTERN. Obviously, you would need to adjust that to your local time if you aren't in the Eastern time zone.

Got it. It is 6am for me, I forgot it was based on Eastern time.
