We have a confirmed reservation for November 12-17 at the Polynesian through DVC rental store. We are confirmed. We had not yet bought our tickets to the parks-were planning on doing that this summer. I am now worried because parks will be at limited capacity and I’m scared we won’t get park tickets. Is there a way to buy tickets or do you think we will be okay?

Try an approved third party reseller if they have them. Otherwise, it's a wait and see approach. I think Disney is doing things monthly and the plans could change in August, September, etc.

I am in the same situation with a November trip and will be watching what happens over the next month or 2. Once I see where things are going I may cancel or buy tickets at that point.

Same situation here. Made my reservation for the Swan Nov 4 - 9. Didn't buy tickets yet. I really hope we won't be locked out of buying them. Otherwise no parks or no vacation, just the hotel. Could still be fun but :( .

Thank you for this tip. I was able to purchase our tickets through Undercover Tourist which is reputable and has good reviews. My biggest fear was having the resort reservation but not being able to get into the parks.

I haven't bought our tickets yet because I have no idea if our September cruise is going. If the cruise is cancelled, I will buy tickets and, hopefully by then, Disney will start selling tickets.

We’re in the same boat. We are booked with our DVC points for mid November but haven’t bought park tickets yet. We will cancel if we can go to parks

Sorry going to hijack the thread a second. Can we still link tickets we have but never put into MDE for a November trip? Should I even bother trying now? Or should I just wait and see what happens without tickets linked to our room reservation

Does MDE even work now? I haven't checked this morning but if it works, you should still be able to link tickets. The question is....do you want to?

right? It gave me the option in the app but do I trust it.... they were one day guest recovery tickets we got back in January. They expire at the end of the year. No idea what to do

Well, if it's a one-day ticket that expires at the end of the year, then why not...

I'm in the exact same situation - rented DVC points for November from an owner privately and had not yet purchased park tickets. Also already have plane tickets. I'm just going to wait and see at this point. I don't want to invest any additional money into this trip until we have a better idea how things are going to be handled. I have new concerns now about the minimum age change for wearing masks (there's just no way my 2 year old is going to keep a mask on!) I'm going to sit tight for now and also email the owner we rented from and find out what options we might have (if any) for pushing this trip to next year. I'm hopeful that people with existing room only reservations would be given priority with the new parks reservation system also, but it's not referenced in the communications at this point.

Not to highjack but I hope someone else has some insight! I had a reservation for 8/30-9/7 that I cancelled and rescheduled to 11/13-11/20 back in March. My glitch is I had bought tickets through Undercover tourist for the first trip. Tickets would have had an increase in price to the new dates that I hadn't paid for yet since we had been considering upgrading to APs when we got there. Now I wonder what will happen to my tickets!

Did you buy them before the price increase that happened in the first quarter of this year?

A maybe dumb question but if you booked a trip, mine is for September and another for November, paid the required $200 deposit with balance due 45 days before trip-is this considered having tickets?

What was your original date in March? If it ran past March 16th, I think your tickets should have an automatic extension to 9/26/2021 now. First they were extended to 12/15/2020 but further extended yesterday. Some are still waiting for that to show in MDE.

If your tickets were prior to the March 16th closure, you can still use them to upgrade to new dates.

Did you include tickets with a package reservation? Then yes, you have tickets.
