We go for the second and third weeks in Oct. Every year we leave the Saturday morning of Thanksgiving weekend and come home two weeks from the Sunday. Going to the Canada pavilion in Epcot on Thanksgiving Monday and wishing everyone a Happy Turkey Day is our Thanksgiving tradition. The crowds really aren't that bad at all. Most of the rides were less than a 30 min wait (about half were 15 or under). Out of all the popular rides, we only needed to get fastpasses for Soarin. Last year the only time we encountered heavy crowds were at Epcot on the weekends because of the Food & Wine Festival (apparently the locals go on the weekends) and when we went to MNSSHP. The weather is also great that time of year. We had to chuckle this past trip when people were complaining about how cold it was when it was in the low 20s (celcius) and in the meantime we were already getting snow at home.
