Hello everyone!! :)

I was wondering if anyone knows what WDW restaurants are the best for getting a group of 18-20 in? I need one for breakfast and one for dinner.

Any advice will be much appreciated! :woohoo:

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I would call group dining. It's probably your best bet with a party that size.

In terms of large tables, we had a group of 14 sit at one long table at Ohana and Cape May Cafe. During that trip, those were the only restaurants where we all say together. However, when separated, they sat at us tables right next to one another for the most part.

Unfortunately, with a group that size, I think it's quite likely that no matter what restaurant you go to, you will be broken up at separate tables. We have found that at the more "buffet-like" restaurants, there seems to be more likelihood that we've sat together.

Choosing a buffet might also make it easier to split up the check at the end. If at least 16 of your group are staying on site, you could book a grand gathering meal, which are planned with big parties in mind...

Get your reservations for the time of restaurant opening, or within 1/2 hour of closing. These are the most likely times to get seated together.

And as of January 28, 2012, the Grand Gathering experiences are going away.

We ate at one big table with 14 at Ohana, San Angel Inn, Restaurant Marrakesh, Fultons Crab House

We were separate at RFK @AK and Mama Melrose

At CRT we technically had 2 separate reservations (were told they have a max party size) but we were all seated together, basically at 2 tables right alongside each other

We had a Grand Gathering and did 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and Cape May Cafe clam bake and Chef Mickey's for dinners. We also did Teppan Edo, but had to sit at different tables. We were a group of 25 and had to be at separate, but adjacent tables at each restaurant. Had to call the manager to arrange that stuff.

For the Inaugural Wine & Dine half marathon we had a party of 20 at Boma and it worked out great.
