Reservation fee question

I am just trying to get an understanding of what the reservation costs for DVC members.

I have a few questions about the reservation fee.

1. Do you pay $95 every time you make a reservation?

2. Say you book at your home at 11 months to make sure you have a place to stay and then at 7 months, you try to get in at another resort, do you pay another $95?

3. Do other changes to your ressie result in the fee again? (adding people or days...)

The $95 fee only applies to reservations at non DVC Resorts with a few exceptions that seem to change frequently.

There are no fees for making or changing a reservation at any DVC resort.

The $95 fee is for exchanging out of the DVC system....so you'd be charged the fee for booking a Disney cruise, the Disney Collection resorts (except those at DL), Concierge Collection, RCI trades, etc.

No fee at all to make, change or cancel DVC reservations. As mentioned, only time you pay the $95 fee is for non-DVC reservations (example: to stay at the Poly or trade out thru II or RCI)

Great, that makes sense. Whenever I saw that fee mentioned, I wondered.
