reservation discount question

I've been reading post the past 2 hours & can't figure this out.

I want to make reservations in Sept. I have a 20/30/40 off room only pin code. But, I want free dining because it will save me more money.
Can I book now with the 20/30/40 percent code, and then if free dining comes out, call back & change my discount to the free dining discount instead of the 20/30/40?
And, do I have to book the dining plan now w/reservation, or do I add that later if the free dining comes out?

Yes, you can book the code you have now and IF FD is released switch to that promo. Provided you meet requirements/ ticket purchase with package etc. and pay rack rate instead for the room.

2nd question you don't have to book the dining now

I would book the room with the discount at this point because depending on where you want to stay the free dining may not always be the best deal. We stay at the BWV and we make out better with a room discount than the free dining since with free dining you have to pay full price for the room. At the time free dining is offered just price the trip both ways and see what works best.
