We last booked (over the phone) this last February. Disney CRO and there reservation system was having siginificant problems at the time.
We never did receive the first letter - confirming the resort, the arrival and departure dates and requesting 1 nights deposit to hold the the reservation.
We knew the deposit needed to be returned in two weeks, so after about 10 days we called back. They had badly misspelled our name, and the street name - so if they ever did send the letter it never arrived. Anyway we wound up paying the deposit over the phone by credit card. We had them correct our name and the street name. After about two weeks we did get a confirmation that they had processed our deposit and that our reservation was confirmed.
If you have not yet paid your one night deposit, and it has been over a week I would call them and see if they can tell you anything. They hurricane may have affected Fri, Sat, and even Tues mail - but I doubt if Disney modifyied the due date for your deposit.
