Today I cancelled a reservation and made a new time for Garden Grill, it was only 20 minutes later, but figured we could use the extra time, the old reservation is still showing on my Disney experience. Not sure what to do, it usually cancels it for you.

If you're sure you canceled it, then refresh the page. See if it disappears then. If not, logout of MDE, then log back in.

If it's still there, maybe call Disney Dining to see if they see it on their end?

Sometimes (usually with resort reservations) MDE can take a few hours to update. If you check back tomorrow and you still don't see a cancellation, maybe call then.

That happened to me too. Got the confirmation email with the new time but MDE still showed the old time. The new time will eventually show up in your MDE.

Not sure if they fixed the problem, but there was an issue if you used the modify option. The reservation would continue to show the old info on one screen, but would show the updated info if you click on it. Make sure you actually have the new reservation showing up separately.

Also, when is the reservation? If it's for today, it may stick around, too.

There are caching layers involved in the application and MDE doesn't always update immediately. You should have received email confirmations of your changes almost immediately, but the app can take a longer time to update.

Just wondering if you thought about changing the time (i.e. using the Change Reservation link) rather than cancelling it? Was there some reason you were unable to do that?

I did this when I adjusted my dinner time on one of my ADRs and MDE automatically replaced my old time with my new one and my reservation number was the same as the previous time since I wasn't cancelling but just adjusting the time.
