Reservation Booking and Waitlist On DVC Website

Need your help can anyone tell me where they put your reservation or your waitlist request
on the dvc website . I have found it before showing you all your present and past reservations and any
waitlists you may have . I have tried to find it on my account but can't hoping someone can help .

On the right under your name, click on My Dashboard. Your current reservations and waitlists are there, and beneath them is a link for previous reservations.

I'm glad you found it - realized when I signed in just now that your name isn't on the far right, but instead you need to click on My DVC Membership! Sorry!

Carolyn your help was great . I thought I was loosing it couldn't find it anywhere . I guess I haven't gone looking for it since they changed the site . I had phoned to do a waitlist in November and wanted to make sure it was there .
Without your help I certainly was struggling.

It's possible to walk any reservation once you understand the principles behind walking. The length of the reservation is not an issue.

I do understand the idea of it, but can you explain how to engineer it more clearly please? I'm just asking HOW to do it for a stay that is over 1 week, since it is only possible to 'walk' 7 days at a time.

You apparently do not understand the principles behind walking. There is nothing that says you can only walk 7 days at a time. But what you're talking about is not walking.

On the day after your 11-month window opens, you are free to tack on an 8th night to the end of your stay. On the second day following your 11-month window, you could add both the 8th night and the 9th night. And so on. That's really not walking a reservation. Walking would involve making a reservation a week or two (maybe more) before you actually wish to stay and then modifying the reservation to move it forward.

Can we back up? What are you trying to do?

It sounds like you have a 7 day reservation. Are you keeping those dates?

If you’re keeping those dates and just need to add more, just go online at the right amount of months before and book the date. Next day book another. Until your stay is complete. Once that’s fine either wait to see if they combine them (they often do for me) or call/email asking them to combine them into one reservation (assuming it’s all at the same resort and room type).

Walking a reservation means you’re booking dates you don’t intend to keep, and are going to be moving the dates forward from day to day.

That’s why I’m asking if the 7 days you have booked are staying put. Because it sounds to me like you’re just booking more days. And that’s not “walking”.

Yes. As long as you are within the +7 days booking window.

For example, let's say that you booked Aug. 4-11, 2019 this morning. Tomorrow, you could go on the website and modify it to 8/4-8/12/2019. If you want a 10-night stay, you could wait until all of the remaining 3 additional nights are within the 11 months +7 nights window and modify the reservation on 9/7 to cover 8/4-8/14/19.

You don't need to walk a full 2 weeks in order to eventually get 2 weeks.

With the modify function you should be able to make the necessary changes yourself online now.
