Reservation 12-1/12-5

I need some help. Last month my wife and I decided let’s go to Disney in December. We have been there several times, over 25, but never over the holidays. We called knowing that there wouldn’t be any open dates so we went on the waitlist. Today I went on DVC website to check our points for our family upcoming vacation in September and I have the above date showing as a reservation for a 1 bedroom. I haven’t received an email or call to confirm this. Does this mean we have the reservation? I hope so. We’d love to see Disney decorated for the holidays.

I did the same thing for a reservation in Oct. It was like "Where are my points?" You should receive a confirmation letter in the mail within a few days.

I'm waitlisted for a lock off instead of a 2 bdrm for that same trip, in the same resort, so I'm back to checking every few days!

Enjoy the trip. We're going to do that one day!

It takes about a week to receive the confirmation in the mail. I don't believe they ever send e-mail, and under the new system they do not call to confirm you want it any more. The web site is the fastest way to check.

You didn't say where you got the reservation...we're hoping for a 2BR at BCV or BWV to be closer to Epcot, but we've got SSR in the meantime 1st-8th - and I understand even that has been full...good to hear some are coming through...

We received SSR for these dates. This is a vacation getaway for my wife and myself, no children or grandchildren. Thanks for the quick response. Now the fun begins to find affordable airline tickets. Thanks again.
