Reseller Price Comparisons Not Accurate?

I'm comparing prices for tickets direct from Disney and from resellers, but am noticing that the price that the Disney site is giving me is lower than what the resellers are claiming the full gate price to be.

Specifically, I'm looking at a 3-day Hopper on the Disney site and the price, with tax, is showing as $371.69. Both Undercover Tourist and Maple Leaf Tickets have that same ticket for $361.95, with tax, but both also claim that is a $31 savings off a gate price of $392.99.

Anybody have any idea what's up with that?

If you go to the Disney World website it tells you that if you buy online you save money (over the price you would pay at the gate). Perhaps the websites are comparing to the gate price? I usually start by pricing them out at the Disney website.

I also think I read somewhere that tickets purchased online are about $20 less expensive than the same multi-day tickets purchased at the gate.

Edited to add: According to touringplans, 3 - 10 day tickets are $20 more at the gate.
