Resale??

anyone deal with sellmytimesharenow.com??

I haven't heard of them but their website says this "No hidden fees - skip the expense of commissions and unnecessary appraisal fees" which makes me think they charge an upfront fee. In my opinion you should avoid all companies that charge and upfront fee. As a seller you want to pay a commission at the time of closing. If you a buyer then I guess you will need to go over their inventory and see if they have what you desire.

Unless the deal available is out of this world, stick with known organizations; and if the deal is too good to be true it is probably so!

I also recommend the Timeshare store. I sold a 60 point contract a couple years ago in 2 hours.

I agree with Jason that paying any upfront marketing fees is not advisable.

I have researched selling my Starwood timeshare, which is not based in Florida. If I decide to do it, I will set my reserve (might be low - depends how bad I want to sell it) and let the open market of eBay determine the price. It works well for everything else I have sold. As for escrow, there several companies to handle it, such as Chicago Timeshare Title. The typical rate for escrow seems to be $400 without title insurance and about $550 with title insurance. Perhaps TTS could provide you the name of an escrow company the specializes in timeshares.

I think that having a reputable escrow company is much more important than a marketing company.
