Resale vs Original Sale?

I am waiting for ROFR. As I understand it, I must wait until closing before I am official and can make ressies. Is it the same for resale and original sale? Just a little confused from different things I've seen on the board.

I am waiting for ROFR. As I understand it, I must wait until closing before I am official and can make ressies. Is it the same for resale and original sale? Just a little confused from different things I've seen on the board.

Original sale as you call it, gets to make a reservation as soon as they make a deposit. Maybe 1 or 2 days. Resales have to wait until they close and are added to the DVC system. Usually about 10 days after closing.
