Well after a 2 month process from March 3 to May 3, it finally got done. How long has it taken people from resale to get into the system?

It can take as long as 10 days. Call MS and they will check for you.

Ours took 4 business days. Looked on line...there they were!

15 calendar days from the time Disney received the recorded deed!

4/13 Recorded
4/18 Disney received deed
5/3 Points show up in system

I checked every day online from 4/19 on. I checked 2-3 times a day, at least, and late into the night. So I know for certain that it was 5/3 and not a day earlier.

Closed 4/27 Still not in the system today is day 12. Called MS on Friday, day 10, no record of us yet. I will wait until Weds. and call again if I do not see anything on-line.

Our deed was recorded 5/2 and our points have not showed up yet. Still waiting. Hope we will get this week.

I'm not in the system either...not sure when deed was recorded. Got notice we closed last week.

Here was our timeline:

1/17 - Made Offer
1/18 - Offer submitted to Disney for ROFR
2/14 - Passed ROFR
2/23 - Received Closing documents
2/25 - Closing Documents (and check) received by Title Company
3/1 - Closed
3/8 - Showed up in Disney System, but no points
3/10 - Points were allocated and our first reservations were made

Well we are still not in the system as of 5/10/11 but we recieved the deed. Will keep you posted.

2/16: submitted for ROFR
3/14: passed ROFR
3/20: received closing docs
3/28: returned closing docs and $$
4/2: closed
4/12: points available on member website

Congrats and right now Disney has been saying it will take about 2 weeks. Keep in mind that your membership might show in the system one day but your points won't be in there until 48 hours later.

Hi Jason, I used your company for this, Scott was my agent. The only problem I have is that May 31st is the last day I can bank the unused points. October use year. Will they extend that for me since the closing was earlier? Joe

We had the same problem, needed to bank points by 4/30. When our points got into the system last Friday, they banked them no problem.

Well i called disney today, and finally im in the system. It will take a few days to generate a acivation code. Got to call back in a few days i guess.

great news - for you - and hopefully me too. i think we closed a day or so after you, so hopefully only a couple of more days for us to show in the system as well.

just an update. i made another call late today (something in my gut just told me to call again). well awesome - we're in!! all in all, 13 days from closing - less than 60 from offer. already made 3 ressies, including 1 for our June (yes 2 weeks from now) Anniversary trip!
