What is a reasonable per point price on a stripped contract at OKW with only 8 points coming in 2012? 2042 expiration

No points for 2011 and eight points for 2012. I can't think of a price I'd be willing to pay for that contract that would pass ROFR.

Disney may not be exercising ROFR much at all, but there have been several reports lately that there are no OKW points available for those who want to add on or buy directly from Disney. Since Disney can easily make the expiration be 2057, I can see it exercising ROFR on selected OKW contracts.

OP FWIW, I'd look for another contract unless you really don't care about getting points until 2013. I'd look at the ROFR thread and find the recent range. Then I'd subtract $10 for each missing point in 2011 and 2012 and reduce the offer for that amount. I'd also expect the seller to pay /reimburse mtce fees for 2011 (if not already paid) and also for 2012. That's what it would be worth to me and I honestly don't think Disney would let it go by ROFR for that price, LOL.

YMMV.

even points have been going for 45 for those who are patient and negotiate so 40 stripped should not be out of line if you have the time.

We can't close until November anyway, so we're not in a big hurry to sell or anything. I think we have it priced high right now, but as we get closer to selling we will drop it down. I don't think 40 is unreasonable or out of line in our minds either, though it's so much lower than what we paid it's sick! Hahahaha. Oh well, we're only selling to get moving expenses paid for and then we'll buy again but we'll buy at AKL this time. Loved OKW, but we'll try something new with this contract.
