When I first read about the new restriction in resale points, I had several thoughts...
First, we've been members for 7 years and haven't used our points outside of DVC anyway because of the poor conversion ratio, not so good of a value.
Second, could this be a scheme by Disney to further drop prices in the resale market so they can exercise their ROFR, get the points at a cheaper rate than today, then sell them as direct points at $120+. Originally I thought it was just a ploy to make new points more attractive but the more I think about it, I see Disney buying back at lot of points under $40 or $50 per point...
Your thoughts??
