I know that with resale that you don't get a physical card. My question is what is the best way for resale members to quickly access your membership card? Do you take a screenshot from your phone and leave it with your pictures or just print out a paper copy? Any tips would be appreciated.

The digital ID card is only valid for 3 months from when it's accessed on the member website. So if you are going to save it as a screenshot or print it, make sure you wait until you are close to the start of your trip.

I saw that. We don’t plan on going until 2022. We don’t have any 2020 points so I’m banking 2021. I was hoping that it would show in MDE app.

My husband takes a screen shot right before the trip and changes his phone background to the card screenshot. (we are blue card members but find the digital one easier to keep track of) I keep it in my camera roll but by the end of the trip it's so far back I end up asking him to give me his phone.

Try marking the picture as a favorite. It then is available in your favorites album which (at least for me) is much smaller than your camera roll! That's what I do.

You can link your DVC membership with your MDE profile. I have no idea if the app uses it for anything.

That's mainly used so you can purchase DVC priced tickets/passes online at disneyworld.com.

It does show on your MDE profile in the app and some CMs may extend any applicable DVC discount based on that.

As you probably know, officially, you don't get dining or merchandise discounts. As you may or may not know, unofficially, you can often get dining and merchandise discounts as a resale member. We've had success with this almost every time.

Right before each trip, I take a picture of a printout of our member ID card and my wife's and my driver's licenses. That way we only ever have to take our phones with us to the parks. Haven't had a problem yet.
