I sold my last two contracts about a year and a half ago. Now I'm ready to get back in and looking at the resale market I can't figure out where everything is...where are all the akv resales...such a large resort thought I would be able to find something there??? I've missed a lot

Currently almost all akv inventory sells as fast as it’s available. The prices for akv has gone up, more than I can explain. Contracts sell for more than 100$ pp even the stripped ones.

I would say going back into DVC is probably not the best time as most prices has rocketed, my guesstimate is that prices will at least decrease a bit later during the year when dues are coming closer. That would be the time to re-enter. That is at least what I’m gonna do for my resale add on.

A lot of listings never even make it to the websites. I recommend you get on the mailing lists and follow on Twitter.

I put in an offer for our AKV contract after I saw it on an email. It was not posted to their website until we already had an agreement, so it went up immediately as "Sale Pending." Definitely get on the mailing lists and/or other social media if you are interested in buying.

Which mailing lists do you suggest? I already joined the Fidelity email notifications. Are there other good resale companies I should keep an eye on?
